Overview
- Hong Kong Baptist University The Association of Business Students (HKBUABS) is the school-based society and the sole representative of HKBU business undergraduates in external affairs. We serve all business undergraduates studying in 7 concentrations (Accounting, Applied Economics, Finance, Global and Chinese Business, Human Resources Management, Information Systems and e-Business Management and Marketing) and Year 1 students without concentrations.
Objectives
- To represent all business undergraduates of Hong Kong Baptist University in external affairs
- To provide welfare and safeguard the interest of all members of the Association
- To foster friendship, coordination and mutual understanding among members of the Association
- To encourage the development of Business Studies in Hong Kong Baptist University
- To establish communication and cordial relationship with other kindred organizations and business organizations and the community
Background
- Established in 1995, HKBUABS is also a non-profit making student-run academic society. The Association has long been serving as the communication channel among members of the Association. Our prime goal is to uphold the interest of our members, and enhance the connection between our members and external organizations. Through providing a wide range of activities and tailor-made welfare items, we hope to foster mutual understanding and friendship between members, and equip them in the face of the competitive business society.
